LE CAFE DES ARTISTES - PARIS

In 1999, Frederico Herminio, singer and songwriter, decided to create the association "A com Art" (Aid to the COMmunication of ARTists) which has as its object the communication of artists and associations working in the field of the fight against cancer, donation of blood, organ donation, personal care and services.

In 2002, the association "A com Art" became the association Le Café des Artistes - Paris integrating in its activity the creation of a high-end coffee destined for the distribution networks of "Fine Gourmet" products among which the Galleries Lafayette.

THE ROAST OF COFFEE

The elaboration of the Le Café des Artistes - Paris range and its development are the result of a close collaboration between Frederico Herminio, a coffee professional and a renowned master roaster whose manufacturing techniques are entirely artisanal, thus guaranteeing optimal quality.
For the creation of the Le Café des Artistes - Paris range, high-end coffee, quality monitoring is applied, starting with a rigorous selection of the best origins of the great Arabica crus from Central America.

The current artisanal roasting unit was founded in 1991 after the transformation of the old roasting created in the 19th century. Since 1873, this roasting unit has established a long tradition of quality that continues today. After selecting the highest quality coffee beans, the coffees are roasted in 12 minutes. Then they are immediately ground and packaged to keep the aroma and quality of the coffee optimally.

This new procedure is possible thanks to the freshness valve, which allows the evacuation of the overpressure gases when the coffee is packed and prevents the penetration of ambient air into the sachet. It is evident that this packaging procedure, which bears witness to advanced technologies, promotes the artisanal quality of coffee in all aspects.

FREDERICO HERMINIO

Frederico Herminio, artist singer-songwriter, created his first rock group "The Sky Scrapers" at thirteen with three college friends. He is lead guitar, they perform at clubs and MJCs. At seventeen seduced by "R&B" from the USA with the very particular rhythms and the very percussive brass sections of James Brown, Otis Redding, Same and Dave and groups like Chicago Transit Authority and Blood Sweat and Tears, he abandons the guitar and turn to the saxophone. He takes saxophone lessons and joined the group "The Brokers" as tenor sax and baritone sax.

In 1999 he decided to create the association "A com Art" (Aid for the COMmunication of ARTists) which has as its object the communication aid for artists and associations working in the field of the fight against cancer, gift of blood, organ donation, personal care and services, etc...

In 2002 he created Le Café des Artistes - Paris.

The Le Café des Artistes - Paris is a different means of communication. Since its inception in 1999, the association has campaigned for a solidarity trade considered a "Popular Patronage."
Thanks to the sale of Le Café des Artistes - Paris in "Fine Gourmet" stores, the association manages its communication projects, without subsidies, with total freedom of action.
